High-resolution scans of public-domain printed works
Open Folio Archive keeps complete page-by-page scans of books, atlases and illustrated plates whose copyright has expired. Each volume is published as a full master set and as lighter derivative files for reading.
Master-quality files
Master sets are uncompressed TIFF images captured at high resolution. They are large by design and intended for study, printing and re-use.
Verifiable downloads
Each bundle is listed with a SHA-256 checksum file, and downloads can be resumed if a connection drops part-way through.
